The Kyiv festival of light and media arts is launching an open call for its video mapping contest. Selected works will be projected onto the Kyiv City State Administration building on Khreshchatyk street during the festival, on September 28-29, 2019. An international jury will determine the winners.
30 entries competed in the international 3D video mapping contest. The works were created by artists from 19 countries: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, and Ukraine.
A two-day workshop on creating light installations will take place within Kyiv Lights Festival 2018 with the support of the the Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine. The admission to the workshop is free of charge.
For three days, the 13th VDNG pavilion will become a venue for a VJ contest, BYOB, exhibitions of media art installations, and collaborations between VJs, artists and musicians.
Kyiv Lights Festival, Carbon Community, and VJUA are announcing a VJ contest.
The contest will take place within the KLF VJ Platform at the 13th Pavilion art residence at VDNG on May 19, 2018.
